Got an extra coat you never wear? Kids outgrow their snow suits? Local shelters desperately need cold-weather gear for neighborhood families this winter.

Coats will be donated to Face to Face (an outreach of hope & support for Germantown’s impoverished), Interfaith Hospitality (transitioning families out of homelessness), and Stenton Manor, an emergency family shelter based in Mount Airy.

Drop off clean, wearable coats to Trolley Car Cafe, 3269 South Ferry Road (at Kelly Drive) during business hours, 7 am to 3 pm every day.

Coats are also being accepted at Trolley Car’s other location, the Trolley Car Diner at 7619 Germantown Avenue, which offers longer hours:  weekdays 7 am to 9 pm, Fri/Sat 7 am – 10 pm, and also Sunday 8 am – 9 pm.

Brr! Jack Frost is a-nipping! Help local families keep him at bay this Winter.
