When complainant returned from a jog at 7:05PM he found the passenger window of his green 2022 Ford Bronco smashed and several items missing: work computer ($1750), sunglasses ($125), and backpack ($25). Window damage estimated at $500.

Complainant parked his white 2017 Hyundai Elantra ($14,500) in the lot at listed location. When he looked out the window at 12AM the following night, the car was gone. Vehicle was previously recovered in the 26th District on 8/19. Driver side front window was broken and dash/steering column was destroyed during previous theft.

Maintenance supervisor witnessed former employee (offender) enter the property and remove appliances (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwaves, totaling $2200 in value). Offender fled scene in a 2010 GMC Sierra with a PA registration. Security footage of incident exists and is available upon request.

Complainant left his apartment at approximately 6PM ON 8/12. When he returned at 12:15AM on 8/13, he noticed his front door had been kicked in. Nothing inside the apartment was missing, but a smoke detector, which had been malfunctioning, had been knocked off the wall.

An unknown person gained entry to complainant’s blue 2013 Kia Forte between 10:30PM on 8/12 and 12:30PM on 8/13 and attempted to steal it. Offender damaged the car’s ignition and steering column ($500). No surveillance available.

Store manager (witness) witnessed offender take seven boxes of trash bags and two bottles of hair straightener ($126) before exiting the store without paying. Police stopped offender outside of store and secured the items. The manager declined to press charges.

Video footage in garage shows offender breaking the windows on 4 separate cars, going through the vehicle and moving on to the next. Besides $20 taken from Civic, nothing missing from vehicles. 2014 Honda Civic (front passenger side window, $150), 2016 Jeep Patriot (front driver side window, $500), 2020 Toyota Corolla (front driver side window, $500), 2000 Jeep Cherokee (front driver side window, $400). Offender: Black male, mid 40s, 6’, 250 lbs, black shirt, pants and sneakers. Also wore a white and black hat.

Offender pulled out a knife and said “what are you going to do?” before fleeing the scene on a white bike in an unkown direction. Offender description: Black male, thin build, mid 20s, purple shirt, black pants and white shoes. Also had a black packpack.
