Crime Report: December 2021

3000 Lincoln Dr.
Complainant states that between the hours of 1:30 and 3:00PM an unknown person broke the front passenger side window ($500 damage) of his gold colored 2007 Cadillac STS and stole a black and red backpack containing a Dell laptop (value $800). Police processed the scene with negative results.

5450 Wissahickon Ave. (The Avenue at East Falls)
Complainant parked 2018 gray Chevrolet Malibu at listed location at about noon. When he returned at 8AM he noticed the front passenger side window was busted out ($200 damage). Nothing of value was taken from vehicle, besides several service orders from his job that contained customer information.

2900 W School House Ln. 
Complainant’s son parked her 2017 silver Jaguar F-PACE. When she returned at 7AM on 12/13, she noticed her rear passenger side window was smashed ($500 damage) and vehicle interior was ransacked. Nothing missing at time of the report.

34XX W Queen Ln.
Complainant was sitting in her 2013 Audi when she was approached by an unknown black male (approx.14-l8 yrs old with light skin) who entered the vehicle through front passenger side door. Offender ordered her out of the vehicle but she refused. Offender then took complainant’s Goyard handbag ($1000) which contained her phone, credit cards, and ID. Offender fled in a silver SUV with another male driver.

3629 Midvale Ave. 
Complainant (the owner of listed garage) states that on 12/10 at 2:06AM he received a notification from his security company about interior motion at the location. Complainant states the burglar alarm was going off when he arrived on location. He observed that the padlock had been cut from the rear door. Nothing was missing at the time of report.

3520 Indian Queen Ln. 
Complainant left his 2007 silver Kia Sportage (value $10,000) running while he went into a repair shop for less than five minutes. When he returned, his vehicle was missing. Compl reviewed cameras and saw three unknown Black males come in as silver Chevrolet Equinox and get out and walk up to his car.

4168 Ridge Ave. 
Offender was observed hiding store items in his clothes. Male walked past all points of purchase after being asked by complainant to return items from his pockets, male returned some items, but kept some and fled the store male was stopped and arrested.

3200 Cresson St. 
Complainant states he parked his Enterprise rental vehicle (2020 gray Toyota Camry) at 3200 Cresson St. Compl noticed at 8AM the following morning that the car was missing. Compl. called Enterprise and was informed the car was involved in an auto accident at Westminster & Farson St. at 10PM on 12/8/21. Compl was not aware the vehicle was taken after he’d parked it.

5500 Wissahickon Ave. (Alden Park Apts) 
Complainant states that he parked her black 2013 Lexus parked at listed location in a lot. When he returned on 12/10, he saw his rear driver side window was broken out and 3 packages and $10 in quarters were missing.

Aggravated assault
42XX Ridge Ave.
During an argument with her boyfriend in their residence, complainant states that he threw a 32-inch television, hitting her on the leg. Compl refused medical treatment.

5500 Wissahickon Ave. (Alden Park Apts)
Complainant parked her 2011 gray Jeep Liberty) at listed location. When she returned, she noticed the vehicle was broken into and several items were taken. Rayban sunglasses, Airpods, $500. Suitcase w clothes and jackets ($3500).

5500 Wissahickon Ave. (Alden Park Apts)
Complainant states his 2020 Chrysler 300 was parked overnight when an unknown offender broke the passenger side rear window and gained entry. A Louis Vuitton bag and clothing ($3,200) were taken from the vehicle.

Aggravated assault
34XX Capital View Dr.
Complainant returned home to find offender trying to give their child something. Compl and offender got into a dispute and offender pushed his way into the apartment. Things then turned physical as offender hit compl multiple times with a broom. Compl had a slightly swollen arm. Offender had fled the scene by the time police arrived.

5500 Wissahickon Ave. (Alden Park Apts)
Unknown offender broke passenger side window of complainant’s 2017 Volkswagon Passat and took clothing and personal items ($250). No surveillance or witnesses at time of report.

33XX Bowman St. 
4:20 PM
Complainant states a package containing clothes ($700) was taken from his steps after UPS delivered it. No surveillance or witnesses at time of report.

5100 Wissahickon Ave. 
Unknown offender broke window ($500) of complainant’s 2019 blue Toyota Camry and ransacked vehicle. Nothing of value reported missing at time of report.

Aggravated assault
Kelly Dr. & Midvale Ave.
Complainant was driving northbound on Kelly Drive approaching the intersection of Midvale Ave. When an unknown person in a red Chevrolet (possibly a malibu) pulled out in front of compl. She honked her horn and offender pulled out a gun, pointed it at the sky and fired one shot. Complainant fled location.

Lincoln Dr. & Forbidden Dr. 
Complainant parked her 2013 Ford Explorer and went for a walk. WHEN she returned, she found her passenger side front and rear windows smashed and her brown leather bag missing. Compl states unknown person used her credit card at a gas station and liquor store. Unknown offender tried to use compl’s debit card but the purchase was declined. Compl states the bank alerrted her while she was out walking.

206 Rittenhousetown Ln. 
Complainant parked and secured 2019 gray Toyota Rav 4 at listed time. When he returned at 12:12PM with his daughter he observed the front passenger side wlndow damaged and his daughter’s backpack was missing. Backpack contained a Macbook Pro laptop ($2,000), chargers ($50), $180 cash, and IDs/credit cards.

3300 Henry Ave. (Allegheny University, East Falls)
Complainant has received numerous notices in the mail about toll booth violations due to compl’s old license plate on another vehicle. Compl believes plate was stolen at listed location (his job site). Compl advised to contact PPA.

5450 Wissahickon Ave. (The Avenue at East Falls)
Complainant parked his 2000 Ford Fusion at listed time. When he returned to the car, he noticed that his 9MM extended magazine ($100) was missing from a black bag which was in the rear seat. Compl believes he my have left the car unlocked.
