One of the best parts of being the parents of young kids is getting to dress up and go out trick or treating with them, and one of the best parts of living in Philly is knowing that our neighborhoods do everything in their power to make that easy and safe.
The Neighborhood of Manayunk goes all out here and engages the whole community to create one of the safest environments for trick or treating.
Since the pandemic essentially canceled Halloween last year, this year’s festivities seemed all the more important as our children and communities heal after the long COVID winter we’ve all endured. So let’s celebrate their joy together, with a photo essay about the return of the ghouls, witches, heroes, and sheroes, family, fun, and community!
