The first month of summer is a joyful cacophony of community! Philly springs to life with dozens of festivals and special events celebrating LGBTQIA+ and African American art, history, business, and other contributions to our lives.
There’s no better time to enjoy Philadelphia’s vibrant neighborhoods, and engage with a colorful patchwork of friends, families, and organizations. Whether you’re seeking culture, education, civic action or just a good party, you’ll likely find at least one opportunity here. All events free unless otherwise specified. Philly Pride 365 Weekend

Philadelphia Pride Weekend kicks off with love, unity, and visibility! This year’s Pride Around the City features the longest Pride flag in Philly’s history—a stunning 600 feet of color and solidarity. Join neighbors, friends, and allies as we carry this monumental symbol through some of the city’s most iconic locations, starting at the Art Museum and winding our way to the heart of the Gayborhood.
Philly Pride March + Festival
SUN June 1, 12 – 6PM
The last day of Pride Weekend comes together in an explosion of good vibes! Featuring music and performance in (and around) Gayborhood bars and businesses. Food trucks, vendors, resources, swag. A day-long celebration, both festive and informative. Join the march – no registration needed! All welcome to walk with Philly LGBTQIA+ community in a celebration of our authentic selves.
Free Pride Concert with Phila Orchestra

A literal symphony of Pride with The Philadelphia Orchestra led by Yannick Nézet-Séguin, with the Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus, Philadelphia Voices for Pride, and the ANNA Crusis Feminist Choir. Coming to a location near you! Ants on a Log is a musical group from Philadelphia that creates fun and educational songs for children and those young at heart. They sing about inclusion, self-expression, and community using humor and catchy melodies. Pride Day at the Philadelphia Zoo

Juneteenth: A Celebration of Freedom

Both family-friendly and deeply reflective, the day includes panel discussions, storytelling, and two live choir performances of “Drowning in Shallow Water” an original work by The Black Breath Collective. Phillies Pride Night

Pride in the Park, a Queer Field Day

An annual 3k walk raising money and awareness about cancer’s impact on women of color. Info and community resources. Portion of proceeds benefit American Association for Cancer Research. Queer Yoga for All

All levels/experiences are welcome for an accessible flow focused on opening hips and hearts. This practice seeks to culitivate space for rest, strength for resistance, and knowledge of accessibility tools and methods for every body. Juneteenth Celebration at the YMCA

Philadelphia Juneteenth Celebration

The Philadelphia Juneteenth Parade — beginning at noon — is the largest in the nation with 25,000 attendees, 2,000 participants and over two-dozen floats parading down 1.5 miles of 52nd Street in West Philadelphia. SWEAT Juneteenth Celebration

Two of June’s biggest celebrations — Juneteenth and Pride — collide at the annual, adults-only day party, SWEAT, at Cavanaugh’s Riverdeck. Come out for an afternoon of drinks, tunes and vibes! This massive, open-gender, all-inclusive event annually draws over 11,000 guests, making it one of the largest LGBTQ+ events specifically for people of color. Be sure to where your Afrocentric colors, rep your HBCU and/or D9 organization! ($20)
Sip City Queer Garden Pop-Up

Sip City Mixer brings back its signature garden party celebrating LGBTQ+ women and trans folks in style. Expect strong cocktails, sidewinder fries, vibrant conversation, and botanical vibes in this lush South Street hideaway. All are welcome—cis allies included when accompanied.
