Ridge Ave in East Falls won’t be the same without Koco Nails. Sadly, the beauty destination closed its doors last month after 8 years. Social media buzzed with tributes and fond farewells for #TeamKoco and Onisha Claire, the co-founder and Creative Director behind the funky shop’s signature services. She thanked the many customers who kept Koco thriving over the years with a heartfelt message:
After 8 amazing years Koco Nail Salon & Wax Studio will be closing! There are so many awesome people that have been a part of this experience that I want to thank emphatically…primarily my Mother & Father for their unending support and commitment to see me win in EVERY season of my life, #TeamKoco which has continuously evolved over the years but especially @beigethabizness (Beige Lofton) and @gingermommy4 (Keesha Alston) for sticking out these last few weeks which are a mixed bag of feelings for everyone and the thousands of clients that we have serviced and I know hold a special place for Koco in their heart and community. — Onisha Claire
