Paws for a Cause

Music & Art at McMichael Park Weds June 9

On Wednesday, June 9, local artist and founder of Benevolent Hound, Jay McClellan, and local musician, Gina Ferragame, of Music with Gina, team up to raise money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

Enjoy a musical morning at McMichael Park with lemonade and coloring books for kids – all for a great cause. Portions of all proceeds go towards raising awareness, supporting families and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer.

BONUS! There’ll also be a sneak peek of Jay’s newest creation – the Benevolent Hound Ice Cream Tricycle (pictured here)! Although it won’t be stocked for this event at McMichael, it will soon be filled with treats created in partnership with local social justice powerhouse White Dog Café. Jay’s plan will be to sell frozen treats at local events throughout our area to raise money for pup-related causes. Keep an eye out for updates in The Local.
