Celebrating wellness with local partners
On June 25th Germantown Home welcomed the public to a Community Day Event with vendors, food, children’s activities, and music filling the park-like campus. About 200 neighbors came out for free hoagie lunches and family fun: face-painting, balloon animals, and even a tye-dye t-shirt making station! Shoppers browsed stalls offering locally-made clothing, jewelry, art and more.
Health and wellness was a big focus, too – attendees were offered free blood pressure checks, senior healthcare info, and COVID-19 vaccinations from ACME Pharmacy.
Big thanks to the following partners:
Staff members thanked neighbors for coming out to reconnect again as a community after so many months of COVID lockdown and restrictions, “We’re proud to provide this fun, safe celebration for the neighborhood.” Cheers to this vibrant senior community and their dedicated support teams!
